Early Monday morning February 24th we experienced water leaking from the bathroom sink. It was early, about 7:00 am, so I called the Emergency Maintenance number , who notified Dave at Renaissance. Dave came within 30 minutes and was able to successfully repair the drain. While he was there, he also was able to replace a faulty smoke detector which had expired. Thank you Dave, and Thank you Renaissance.

Price and location are great. The apartment sizes are large and spacious with an open-concept layout and large windows. Just about 2 miles from the mountains and many hikes. A little over 5 min from SLC and 10 min to both the Farmington Station Mall and City Creek Mall. Several grocery stores around. Target and Walmart 3 exits away and Costco down the street. Has a good sized dog park in the complex for quick visits and a very large dog park less than 2 min away with plenty of dogs to play with. Parking can be a little difficult, so it is worth paying for a parking spot or a garage. The apartment has a nice pool open all summer and a little into the fall, a BBQ area in the pool area, and a small, newly renovated gym. Located very close to both an EOS and Vasa gym which is convenient for extra amenities. Area is suburban but does run along busy roads so it can be a bit noisy and complex is family friendly, but can be louder with children. Very clean complex and maintenance is always quick and ready to help! Amazon hub is onsite and overall, it’s been a nice and safe place to live. I’ve enjoyed all the property managers that have worked here (there have been 3) and the people in the area are friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for large, spacious apartments for a good price.

Units feel clean and modern, very spacious. The complex is mostly great, the Amazon pickup box is very convenient. The parking though is the worst I’ve ever seen at any apartment complex I’ve ever lived, and it’s only gotten worse over the year I’ve lived here. There have also been issues that have been difficult to get maintenance to fix, such as the water heater, the water pressure, etc. The views from the apartments are amazing though!

As far as apartment living goes, our experience living at the Hills at Renaissance has been great! Neighbors are respectful and friendly. The apartments themselves are generally very nice, and maintenance is always very quick to help fix something when needed. Andrea, who works in the office, is very kind, friendly, and has always gone above and beyond to help us with anything we've needed. Every visit to the office has been enjoyable because of her. Downsides to consider: 1. Parking is very very limited. If you get a covered parking spot, other resident may steal it. Highly recommend getting a garage to avoid that if possible. 2. The windows are not sealed well. You can hear people/cars in the parking lot better than the people you share a wall with. With that being said, there is a car dealership across the street that often sets the car alarms off (I'm assuming to locate their vehicles). So you may hear car alarms blaring throughout the day. If you're not home often, it shouldn't be an issue. Or you might just get used to it. 3. If you get a garage or parking spot near a staircase, be prepared to have people park in front of your spot, keeping you from getting in or out. It's not allowed, but it happens daily. Residents are usually quick to move, but not always. It can definitely be a nuisance, but if you're looking for a way to exercise your patience then that's a great option!

I have lived here for four years now and don't plan on moving any time soon. Why would I? Rent is reasonable, there is a pool, dog park and gym. We have used the clubhouse for parties and it has plenty of room for everyone. All of the property managers and leasing agents we have had have been so amazing. The maintenance guy is always on top of everything right away and really cares about the residence. He is out shoveling the snow at 5 a.m. in the winter and is out keeping the pool clean in the summer. All the residents here are so nice and it is so close to everything. If you are looking to move, this is the place to be.

She makes these residences as easy to get into as,possible. Her voice is friendly and sweet. Recently, when I needed help with getting packages from Amazon boxes she was quick to respond and help me get my packages. Another plus for Ms Andrea Gundlach is she actually personally answers the phone when u call the Office with our questions. Apartment complex is very nice and clean. Units are very much updated and nice. However please be very careful renting here. Outside of your rent you will be charged the following: trash, Wi-Fi, valet trash, security (There’s none present and only cameras is at the office), you are required for a covered parking or garage ($100/month), washer, dryer (rental) and many more other things. Parking is very much limited so if you have more than one car it is first come first serve. Street parking is very much limited so just be advised.

I will call this a review in progress. I really want to give a 5 star rating but this early in, with the few negatives that have been experienced, I cannot honestly do that. First off the positives about the location: The Staff are all professional and quick to respond to maintenance issues, small problems, etc. The apartments, while a little tired are very spacious, pretty, well insulated and for the most part quiet. Other tenants for the most part are courteous, and so far none have given off the air of shadiness. Tenants leave their garages open without worry. Rent is EXTREMELY reasonable!!!! We looked at other apartment/townhome locations and honestly fell in love with The Hills at Renaissance because of the overall comfort it gives off. For all these things I would gladly give a 5 star review. Now for the Negative: Parking- As with many in this state and many others, my family has multiple vehicles, which require multiple parking spaces and additional fees for the additional spots. This is not uncommon for any apartment complex. But, there is no designated visitor parking, no real consequences of parking violations (especially on weekends and after office hours). Unless you have a job where you are off before 4pm it's a toss up if you'll actually get to park in an uncovered spot. I unfortunately work late hours, luckily I have a handicap placard, but that is even a toss up that a spot will be available. Violations are not enforced. Non residents and non handicap drivers park in spots reserved for those with handicap plates/placards; guests take up tenant spots for hours and even days on end, and the overflow lot is not monitored or regulated to ensure tenants are not "risking it" by parking there. I've seen the tow truck once in multiple weeks, have to deal with a minimum of 4 snow plow trucks that create parking issues on either side of their vehicles, and misconstrued information on garages/covered parking limits when another tenant plays hopscotch between a garage and covered spot with the world's LOUDEST muscle car. If this major issue improves then I would be more than happy to change my rating, until then.... I give a low 3

The apartment complex is a great location, not too far of a drive from downtown Salt Lake. It’s a great place to live, the rent is not bad for the nice amenities. The manager Cait is incredibly responsive, helpful, and very professional. Any time my family needs anything, it’s taken care of ASAP- the handy man Dave can fix anything! Overall, I would recommend the apartment complex- my family and I have had an excellent living experience.

This place is home. We had just moved to SLC from Ogden and moved into a faulty apartment at a completely different residential community. I came to The Hills at Renaissance in complete distress hoping to move into a better place. Dixie (property manager and literally a sweet angel) helped get us into an apartment promptly and took our situations very serious and with charisma. The apartments are modern modern and cozy! Our neighbors are all so sweet and maintenance is AMAZING! So fast and always working so hard to make sure our property is taken care of and they do such a great job. Also, almost each unit has a beautiful view which makes us never want to leave (sunsets/mountains). Location is perfect. We have 2 Smith's only 5 minutes away each direction, gas station two seconds away, and coffee one second away! My dog approves of the dog park as well. THIS is where you get a quality apartment!

Nice apartments, there are some drawbacks like parking. You should be able to tell this just by being there, not a huge drawback but just something to be aware of. Office staff were extremely nice and helpful with any issues. Which to me is the biggest thing when dealing with an apartment. Any issues were delt with quickly and I was properly updated on status of what was going on. Only other thing I wish they had was more room to walk dogs and such, they do the best they can with the room they have to work with though.

Don’t like that you’ll get a tow notice on your car about registration that’s past due from the parking authority. Don’t think they should be able to do that. I pay for my spot. Leave me alone. Pretty quiet complex minus the people with dogs that constantly bark. Didn’t like the extra move out fee I was charged that was not explained ahead of time when asked. Safe place to live and neighbors are nice and keep to themselves.

The Hills is a safe, convenient, and modern apartment complex. Literally minutes from anything and everything. The mountains, shopping, grocery stores, SLC int'l airport and Interstate 15. The rent is on the higher end, but takes into consideration what you get in return. A quiet and comfortable place to call home.

I love how attentive management and maintenance is. They take good care of their tenants. Updating my review 8/24/2020 Still love this place. My family calls it out home. Management is attentive, Maintenance takes great care of us. Parking is hard, it’s not right that one person has a garage and takes up 3 additional parking spots. I do think this can be monitored better. It would be nice to have one parking spot designated for more than one motorcycle.

Management is outstanding and it’s a great location. The biggest problem is parking. While residents have parking there is no where for guests, which is not a problem if you never have visitors. As with all apartment living other tenants can be oblivious but there’s little you can do about the “cloggers” who live above you. Overall, I recommend it.

The only complaints I have of living in this place happen to be things that the apartment managers cannot control. I always wished other pet owners would clean up after their dogs in the designated areas, since the bags are provided.. I also wish there was a bit more guest parking available. The apartment itself was constantly being improved and the managers were always very helpful and attentive whenever I had a concern or question.. I do miss my neighbor and the community in that area! We got notes on our birthdays, pet photos around the holidays, and the gym was almost always empty! My partner and I travel for work a lot and we had the easiest time at this apartment compared to other complexes around the same price point.

We loved living here so much! The property was always clean and pretty. The pool was nearly always empty, so me and my daughter loved being down there! My only complaint is the parking issue but that’s nothing the front office can really fix! They do the best they can with a small property :) Brit and Angela are amazing. They are so genuine and sweet and will go above and beyond for you anytime you need. My only suggestion for the property owners would be to have the off site parking area be free and count as an over flow. It’s not the tenants fault that there isn’t enough parking. All in all, we loved it so much and we will miss this place like crazy!

We are brand new to this community, but so far we are loving it! Maintenance has been quick to respond, management has been wonderful to work with, and we are loving our new home. We do echo others in the parking complaints, but we knew how many spots there were and while we would appreciate more guest parking, we knew what we were getting in to and we will make the best of our time here.

This is an amazing community to live in! I always feel safe and secure! The units are beautiful with several updated features. Noise level is low, I can never hear my neighbors! Maintenance is prompt and efficient! The staff at the clubhouse are very professional, accommodating and always make you feel important and welcome! Angela is especially lovely! 10/10 would recommend!

Moving the stuff up to the 4th floor was a bit hard but i do love my new apartment! After a year of living there the place grew on me even more and the only reason i left is because buying a home is and has always been a big part of my American dream. Im really gonna miss the staff most of all tho!!! The Hills at Renaissance is a great place to live! Clean and well managed, Brittnie and Angela are professional, friendly and very helpful. Can't count the times they've gone above and beyond for my family. Just had an experience with Ryan, the maintenance supervisor, and was very impressed! I let him know that our dryer was having issues and in under 30 minutes he had us back up and running. Excellent service!

I like these apartments alot, our 3 bedroom apartment is so spacious it feels like a home. I like the area and easy freeway açcess. Many shopping places as well. However, the parking is very roooouugh here. Between my roommates and I ,we are constantly switching around to get a spot, on top of the extra money we pay for another spot, across the street. Also you do get used to the busy rough noise with time. Or at least I have for the most part. The walls and windows are thick. Overall the staff is nice and friendly. They respond quickly to any of our maintenance issues, and do the best they can. They even left a sweet birthday card on my door 😊.

I have loved living here at the Hills at Renaissance so far! I have wonderful neighbors whom are willing to give a helping hand and also very friendly staff. They’ve been doing a lot of work around to improve the area and it sure has been turning out nice! The only thing I would like to see improvement on the stairwells and outside my apartment, it needs to be swept or something. That’s my only complaint. The parking was a little frustrating at first, however we got the additional parking at the lot and haven’t had any problems! Maintenance has always been quick and super friendly. I’m happy and proud to call this place my home.

I currently live at the Hills. First off the apartments themselves are great. Granite countertops, washer dryer hookups, and the rent isn't that expensive for what you get. The absolute best part about the apartments though is the staff. Brittnie and everyone else that we have had dealings with have been amazing. They have gone out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. As far as the bad, There needs to be more parking spots. The parking that is free for anyone is way way way to limited. They have a lot across the street, but you have to get on a wait list and pay extra to use it. That is very annoying but personally not a deal breaker. The other downside is that they make you buy their entertainment package. It is internet and TV. They use DirectTV, if you don't want it well you still pay for it. Aside from those two things the area is great the accommodations are great and everyone is super friendly. You are minutes from anything downtown, and minutes from the mountains. All in all a great experience so far.

LOVE the professionalism yet at the same time management makes you feel like family. Very welcoming, grounds are kept clean and my apartment itself is very spacious. I have a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, and there is an extra storage closet space on the patio which I love. My dining room has a full size table that seats 6 and 3 bar stools. My kitchen is a dream, I just LOVE the granite countertops. Pet friendly and maintenance is always on top of his game. Jason the maintenance man is just as amazing as the office staff who are just a delight. We just moved here from Cali and we love our apartment and the people that make it amazing!!! Brittany,Noah and Jason. Love This complex and management works with you and always has little activities in the clubhouse...just last month I celebrated National Oreo day and it was too cute and so much fun. Family friendly, the elementary is literally 5 minutes away driving and my son LOVES his school.

I have lived here nearly 4 years and I love it. The location is great when it comes to shopping or getting on the freeway quickly. I recently needed help in my apartment and when I contacted the front office they were quick to reply and maintenance showed up the next morning. The apartments have been wonderful. I hear my neighbors a little, and the cars. But overall the privacy is great. I have no complaints so far. The only thing my family has an issue with is the internet service that is provided in the media package. The connection is faulty, and doesn't produce a good signal. If you would get a better internet provider that offers more upload and download speeds that the 25 mpbs that is currently streaming it would provide more comfortability.

The good: The apartments are new, stylish, and repairs were always done promptly. The bad: Parking. There's just not enough and you don't really have another option for parking nearby (and you will probably have to purchase an extra spot) The ugly: The immediate surrounding area isn't particularly scenic... Overall I didn't feel there were any big surprises, so if you sign the lease, you know what you're getting into. Management is pretty typical; no special favors, but they are responsive and easy to contact.

I lived here for two years. All things considered, it was a great experience. Most of the negative reviews are from people that know about the pre existing problems before they sign a contract. Too many stairs? Really? If it's the third or fourth floor, of course there are stairs. Management was responsive and nice every time I needed to interact with them. Figure out the parking situation BEFORE you sign, and it won't be an issue. Not many complaints besides the wind and road noise.

I have been living at this property since March. I absolutely love the property. Its very updated and beautiful. It has a pool and it is close to many shopping stores, banks parks and schools. The staff at the hills is so great. Brittanie is the main person i dealt with when moving in and she is wonderful. I can always fee comfortable to reach out to her if I have any questions or concerns. Ryan is the maintenance man of the property and Truly appreciate his hard work. The property is always well kept and is clean. He is also very nice and greets the tenants while he is out and about maintaining the property. The property has a beautiful club house, gym that has an area for little ones to play in while you work out. There is also a play area for the little ones to play. Its pet friendly and the neighbors I have met around our building are very nice.

I have no complaints about these apartments or how they are managed. The apartments are spacious and modern. The rent is reasonable with other similarly appointed places in the same location. My apartment is always quiet. I have had a couple of minor maintenance issues, but the management has always responded very quickly and the issues were resolved faster then I expected with no need for any follow-up. Staff is helpful and friendly. Really the only issue I hear is parking, but this doesn't affect me as I have a garage. Visitors sometimes find it hard to find a place to park, but that's to be expected anywhere. Overall this is a great place to live.

Neither at the appartments or the city itself. No parks allow dogs and so its hard to take your dogs out to have fun.

I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years. At first we went through so many managers and it was just complete awful experiance. The last 6 months it has gotten a lot better with better management they have fixed our parking problem which was the biggest issue. The apartments are absolutely beautiful nice and open. I love my apartment !

These apartments are beautiful. I have been living here for 4 months now and it has been a great experience so far. I really love all of the amenities. The leasing agents are very nice and helpful as well.

I have nothing but kudos for the staff here. Staff has always been responsive and pleasant to work with. Hills at Renaissance is clean, convenient, and I feel safe. I agree with the consensus re parking, I think residents are penalized for a shortcoming we are not responsible for. I cannot understand some of the harsh comments in reviews here, they do not reflect my daily experience.

Reading these negative reviews is giving me anxiety! I on the other hand have really enjoyed living here for the last two years and just signed another lease. I haven't had issues with any appliances or Internet. I love being close to the freeway and any store that I need. I have my own parking stall and a great gym. No problems here! Hope to stay as long as I can.
